R Collection Hotels, owned by the Rocchi Family, recently opened two prestigious ski mountain hotels for the winter season: Montana Lodge & Spa in La Thuile and Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc in Courmayeur.
Grand Hotel Courmayeur features 72 elegantly furnished rooms; two food and beverage options, La Fourchette restaurant and Equinox Lounge Bar; and ERRE Spa, featuring an indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, chromatic and sensory showers, a private SPA, and a Technogym equipment-filled workout space.
Courmayeur is known for its access to the Mont Blanc massif for off-piste and heli-skiing. The ski area offers plenty of skiable terrain, perfect for those looking for a challenging trip down the mountain to slopes for beginners. Non-skiers can enjoy a day filled with shopping or a trip on the iconic Skyway Monte Bianco.
Montana Lodge & Spa offers 55 rooms with charming, traditional Valdostano touches. The hotel has two restaurants, Bistrot and Ottavio Lounge, offering Italian cuisine using the freshest local ingredients. There’s also an on-site cellar, which features intimate wine tastings and houses 300 different wine labels. Montana Lodge & Spa also has a ERRE Spa, complete with a variety of amenities including an indoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath, Vitarium bio sauna, private spa area and gym with Technogym equipment.
