The MeetMeOnBoard app, which makes it easier than ever for LGBTQIA+ travelers to book cruises and connect with each other, officially debuted. Cruisers in the LGBTQIA+ community can use MeetMeOnBoard to find fellow LGBTQIA+ travelers on their chosen cruise and connect before setting sail. Find the app on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
MeetMeOnBoard was founded in 2008 before being acquired by Adam Martindale, a cruise veteran with more than 30 years in the travel industry, in 2022. Since the acquisition, Martindale has worked to transform the company into the app recently unveiled.
“We are thrilled to unveil MeetMeOnBoard, a platform dedicated to enhancing LGBTQ+ cruise experiences,” remarked Martindale. “Our app represents a pivotal moment for LGBTQ+ travelers, offering unprecedented connectivity and community. Join us as we embark on this transformative journey together!”
MeetMeOnBoard offers customizable profiles for users to express themselves and meet like-minded fellow travelers. Users can access comprehensive LGBTQIA+ resources and get updates on trending cruise information. Functionalities powered by Cruise Planners helps users find queer-friendly cruises, create custom events, ask and answer questions, and communicate directly with one another.
Martindale added, “MeetMeOnBoard is thrilled to provide queer travelers a way to book cruises, coordinate trips and connect with each other before, during and after their cruise. We hope it will become their go-to LGBTQ+ resource for all of their future cruises and we can’t wait to meet them on board soon!“
