The Midea Window Air Conditioner lets you air condition your home without losing a window. Its U-shaped design allows it to fit easily into almost any window without having to seal it in place. The window can still be opened and closed at any time.
Installation of the unit is easy. It comes with a quick-snap bracket that you slide into the window frame. You place the unit on the bracket, then secure the sidearms to keep it in place. The Midea Conditioner comes with an anti-theft mechanism so it doesn’t compromise your family’s safety. As an added bonus, the U-shaped design also works to block the noise coming from the compressor on the outside. This makes it up to nine times quieter than traditional AC units.
Midea is also strong enough to blast cold air up to 20 feet away and includes a full DC inverter to help spread the coolness faster in larger spaces. The company also boasts that it uses 35 percent less energy than similar units. Finally, the air conditioner is WiFi-enabled, meaning you access the controls from an app on your smartphone — you can adjust it without getting up off the couch.
The Midea Window Air Conditioner has been revamped and will retail for $399. First shipments are expected to begin May of this year. Check out the website for more information on features and ways to order.
