The popular bamboo forest is located in Arashiyama, just outside of Kyoto. The peaceful forest doesn’t just look beautiful with its bright green bamboo, but it also sounds serene thanks to the gentle sounds of rustling leaves and creaking bamboo.
Iceland boasts a diverse landscape, from the urban views in Reykjavik to ice-blue glaciers in the south. The country is also home to the famous geothermal spa, the Blue Lagoon. Visitors can observe the Northern Lights in Iceland, with September–March prime viewing months.
Dallol, Ethiopia
One of the hottest places in the world, Dallol is located in northern Ethiopia. Home to volcanoes and geysers, the area produces unique yellow deposits where sulphur and salt react.
The majority of the park is located in Wyoming, with parts in Idaho and Montana. While the park is famous for its geyser, Old Faithful, the Grand Prismatic Spring is equally as stunning. The hot spring boasts bright blue, yellow, green and orange waters

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
