Tips / Travel

North America offers many scenic and historic train rides. These train rides delight and inspire travelers because it gives them a new way to experience the world. Thousands of people take these trains every year and this type of travel is only gaining more followers. The North American train system is still years behind European and Asian countries, but they get the job done. Taking a train is also a great way to add an extra adventure to a trip or destination. It’s not just going from one place to another but getting to view everything in between as well.

One of the best train rides to enjoy is the Alaska Railroad train route. Alaska is a massive state and much of it has not been modified by humans. The nature in this state is abundant and visitors love to see steep mountains, rolling hills and animals frolicking. It crosses through Denali National Park, which has some of the most gorgeous views. It operates only during the summer season, the best time for optimal visibility in Alaska. During the winter season it might be harder to see as much through the snow.

The Grand Canyon is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Railway was built in 1901 and brought world travelers to one of America’s most fascinating sights. It was shut down for a time and then brought back to life in the late 1980s. Thousands of people use this railway every year to get stunning views of the canyon. The company in charge offers vacation packages and more.
