Tips

More travelers opt to road trip to their destinations rather than fly to avoid contact with others. Before setting off on a road trip, do a little planning on your route and invest in some must-have accessories from Amazon to make your journey a little easier.

Car Trash Can

While on the road, you are bound to accumulate trash from snacks, drinks, meals and more. Amazon offers a couple different trash cans for your car. There is a bigger option that attaches to the middle console, better for longer road trips, or one that will fit into your cup holder, perfect for straw or gum wrappers.

Cell Phone Holder

Instead of printing directions or using a map, we typically rely on our phones to help us navigate. If you are road tripping alone or have a co-pilot who gets car sick, a cell phone holder for your car is the perfect way to ensure safety during your travels. There are many different car cell phone holders to choose from, including those that sit in the cup holder; the ones that clip to the vent; or even a mount that attaches to the dashboard or windshield — you just have to find the best one for you.

Car Hook

Car hooks fit perfectly around the head rest pegs to allow you to hang purses, hats, grocery bags or more to create more legroom in the car for passengers. These hooks are easy to attach and make your bags easily accessible, no more worrying about digging around or getting distracted trying to find something in your bag.

Car Safety Hammer and Seatbelt Cutter

The car safety hammer and seatbelt cutter is perfect as an emergency road trip accessory. If you get locked in the car, get in a bad accident or get stuck in your seatbelt, this tool can help you cut free from your seatbelt and break the glass so you can escape any situation.

Going the Distance: Which Airports Have the Longest Walks?

You’re in between flights and ready to find a coffee and your next gate and settle in. But then you find the signs to your gate and look down the impossibly long corridor and wonder how you managed to have the gate at the opposite end of the airport.
