If you’re planning a trip to Asheville this summer, you have new options as to where you lay your head.

AutoCamp Asheville gives camping a whole new meaning. You won’t be roughing it here. Stay in one of the property’s iconic and yet updated Airstream trailers, revamped to include spa-inspired bathrooms, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, flat-screen televisions and more. Depending on the “suite” you choose, you might enjoy a private outdoor space with a fire pit or views of the river. Meanwhile, guests have access to a Clubhouse bar and restaurant, as well as a daily light breakfast.

Stay in a luxe cabin at Firelight at Shope Creek. While newish, if not new for this year, this property offers a lot to love, with its custom and modern cabins on 22 acres. The natural oasis includes private hiking trails, a creek, an on-site garden and chicken coop. Meanwhile, cabins boast their own private hot tubs, wood-burning stoves and private decks.

For something slightly more traditional and yet entirely unexpected, consider Artful Way Hotel, just opened in April in River Arts District. This boutique property highlights local creativity, with carefully curated pieces and a bright, vibrant aesthetic that’s sure to put a smile on your face. Rooms are ideal for extended stays, with chef-inspired kitchens and even private washers and dryers.
