Want to capture your travels via a handheld camera that delivers high-quality visuals and audio? Then consider Osmo Pocket, a 4K mini camera that sits on a three-axis gimbal.
The Osmo Pocket is a small, lightweight, handy camera similar to a GoPro. The gimbal stabilization, electronic stabilization and optical image stabilization mean that, regardless of your movements, every shot looks crystal clear and smooth.
However, the Osmo Pocket doesn’t only capture video. For photography, it uses a 1/2.3-inch sensor, 80-degree FOV and f/2.0 aperture to create stunningly detailed photos. Video is shot at 60 frames per second, at 100 Mbps. Slow-motion capabilities shoot video at 1080p/120fps 4x.
The Osmo Pocket is designed to actually fit into your pocket. It’s about the size of a candy bar, so can be easily thrown into a bag or tucked into a jacket. And in case you’re worried about overheating, you can be assured the Osmo Pocket includes a fan-less, passive cooling system that dissipates heat evenly, so the camera’s performance is always even and consistent. And, since the cooling system is fan-less, it means the cooling process produces no noise that’ll be picked up in your videos.
Once you’re finished shooting, the camera’s universal port makes it easy to connect to your smartphone for posting all of your photos and footage on social media and other outlets.
The Osmo Pocket starts at $319.
