Now that travel is picking up, it is time to start planning that long overdue vacation. According to various recent studies and surveys, travelers are ready to get out and explore the world again. Parking at the airport can be inconvenient and expensive so many people find it easier to get a ride. Next time you have a flight, consider parking at The Parking Spot.
The Parking Spot, the nation’s largest near-airport parking company with 37 lots across 22 U.S. cities, recently saw a 41.5 percent increase in people searching for travel in June and beyond. Jeff Foland, CEO, The Parking Spot shared some tips and tricks to consider when planning your #WelcomeBacktoTravel vacation.
After you book your flight (three–six weeks prior), be sure to plan ahead and reserve airport parking in advance to get the best rate. Since there aren’t as many planes in the sky, there are fewer parking stalls available at many airports, so the earlier you book, the better your chances are of securing one.
When planning, consider your journey to and from the airport. If you can’t find a ride, don’t want to take public transportation or an Uber/Lyft, you can drive yourself, but you should plan in advance. The Parking Spot encourages all guests to pre-book reservations online and utilize the Fast Exit feature on the app for touchless entry and exit.
Lastly, The Parking Spot offers booking with flexibility. There are two ways to reserve your spot; Pay Now or Pay Later, which gives travelers varying degrees of flexibility. The Pay Now reservations provide the best rate and can be modified up to one hour prior to the reservation and the Pay Later Reservations can be fully canceled at any time.
