North America

With travel on the rise, destinations prepare to welcome visitors back to attractions, landscapes and more — one of those destinations is New Orleans, Louisiana. NOLA has a boatload of different activities and events for visitors this summer and beyond.

New Hotels

Travelers looking to book a hotel should consider booking one of the newer hotels coming to New Orleans, like the Four Seasons opening in mid-2021; Hotel Saint Vincent set to open in June; Virgin Hotels New Orleans, opening late summer; The Chloe, opened in October 2020; and Columns, opened February 2021.

Food and Fun

Travelers can enjoy delicious food and entertainment safely and with friends at breweries and other restaurants. One brewery to check out is Miel and Zony Mash Beer Project, which offers plenty of outside seating with amazing food trucks, pop-ups and live music. Otherwise, plenty of restaurants in the French Quarter offer courtyard and outside dining.

Cultural Attractions

New Orleans also offers plenty of cultural attractions. Be sure to check out the Museum of Southern Jewish Experienceopening May 27, as well as many of the popular and favorite attractions such as Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Sazerac House, The National WWII Museum, New Orleans Jazz Museum and New Orleans Museum of Art. The Children’s Museum will reopen May 29.

Festivals

This summer, beloved festivals will return, including Hogs for the Cause, New Orleans Wine and Food Experience, Satchmo SummerFest and a once-in-a-lifetime fall Jazz Fest.

Outdoor Fun

New Orleans has plenty of safe, outdoor and socially distant experiences like picnicking in Audubon Park or City Park, biking, golf and plenty of live music, such as Bacchanal, The Soul Rebels at the Broadside Theater, Steamboat Natcheez Jazz Cruises and much more.
