Aruba is known for its beautiful beaches, wealth of adventure activities and as a safe spot below the paths of many Atlantic hurricanes — but could it also become your next favorite destination for a rejuvenating yoga retreat?
Several resorts on the island offer yoga classes and experiences. The Ritz-Carlton Aruba provides guided yoga classes on the hotel lawn Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Likewise, Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort offers yoga classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with aerial yoga available Saturday.
At Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort, there’s a nice array of yoga classes to choose from, including aerial yoga and wine down yoga in the evenings for yoga paired with a glass of wine. On Eagle Beach, Manchebo Resort & Spa offers myriad classes throughout the week and at different types of days, with more than a dozen complimentary yoga and Pilates classes per week.
Even if you don’t stay in one of these resorts, you can find unique yoga offerings from island providers elsewhere. On Palm Beach, Vela Sports Aruba provides beach yoga and stand-up paddleboard yoga. Happy Buddha Aruba is the only hot yoga studio on the island, offering a range of classes, both private and group.
