You don’t need a multimillion-dollar business to make good use of a business credit card. You can use one for freelancing or even a random side hustle and, if the card you are using happens to be the new United Business Card, you can earn miles for your next trip.

The all-new United Business Card was recently relaunched with a new sign-up offer, meaning it’s the perfect time to sign up for this card if you haven’t already and if you frequently fly with United Airlines. The sign-up offer gives you 100,000 bonus miles after you spend $10,000 in purchases after the first three months of your account opening. This offer is available through April 2.

While you might at first think it’s impossible to spend $10,000 on a credit card in three months, think again. Just follow a method many points and miles chasers use: Put all of your spending, like groceries, rent, loan payments, everything, on your credit card, and then pay your credit card bill before the due date each month, resulting in no interest accrued. You’ll reach $10,000 faster than you think.

The card gives you two miles per $1 spent on local transit and commuting, including costs for mass transit, tolls and rideshares. You’ll also receive 25 percent back on any United in-flight purchases, including WiFi, food and beverages and a $100 travel credit after you make seven United flight purchases of $100 or more.

If you have both the new United Business Card and a personal Chase United card, you’ll receive a 5,000-mile bonus per year.

Other perks include two miles per $1 spent on United purchases, gas, office supplies and dining; one mile per $1 spent on everything else; priority boarding; free first checked bags on flights; and more.

“This card was designed to give small business owners even more ways to earn double miles in areas where they are already spending, allowing them to earn miles faster that they can use to travel to hundreds of exciting destinations United serves around the world,” said Luc Bondar, vice president of loyalty, United Airlines.

Going the Distance: Which Airports Have the Longest Walks?
