Quip Subscription Toothbrush

If you listen to any kind of podcast with any regularity, there are certain products you are sure to be familiar with. Casper mattresses, Blue Apron meal subscription and many others seem to advertise heavily on podcasts.

The Quip Electric Toothbrush is one of these products frequent podcast listeners will know. The toothbrush makes a claim to improve oral health through regularly changing brush heads.

Quip works through a somewhat standard subscription model. Customers sign up through the Quip website for one of several starter sets. After, customers pick which starter set and color toothbrush they want.

Starter sets come in kid and adult sizes and typically include a tube of toothpaste, the brush itself and a multiuse cover. The cover makes for hygienic travel and storage. The brush is available in plastic and metal variations, with several color options on each material. A plastic brush starter set will cost you $25, while the metal sets run $40.

Quip really sets itself apart after the initial purchase. When buying the brush, customers can opt in to a refill plan. Refills include a fresh brush head and battery. For $5 more, a new tube of anti-cavity toothpaste is included.

Each refill costs $10, including toothpaste, and arrives every three months.
