Online reservation platform Resy brings a unique spin to the standard restaurant week deal. The Resy Off Menu Week dining program offers exclusive menu options at select cities throughout the United States for one week. Resy partners with Capital One on the program.

Resy Off Menu Week comes to six of the country’s best dining cities throughout 2019. Instead of the usual restaurant week fixed-price options, restaurants will offer diners exclusive access to off-menu items and new dishes yet to make the regular menu at some of the best restaurants around the country.

The inaugural 2019 schedule is Washington, D.C. (April 8–14); San Francisco (June 17–23); New York City (Sept. 16–22); Chicago (Oct. 21–27); and Austin (Dec. 9–15). The Los Angeles week ran Feb. 25—March 3.

Participating restaurants include Tetsu (New York), Maude (Los Angeles), Lord Stanley (San Francisco), The Dabney (Washington, D.C.), Kemuri Tatsu-ya (Austin) and Pacific Standard Time (Chicago). Reservations for each restaurant open the month prior. Capital One credit cardholders gain further access to perks, including early reservations.

Follow Resy on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more updates. Use #OffMenuWeek when you dine.

Rustic Canyon, Los Angeles

Santa Monica, California, has such an incredible array of restaurants and bars, it can be difficult to choose one. Rustic Canyon on Wilshire Boulevard makes it easy to decide; the restaurant manages to clearly set itself apart from the rest.

Culinary Artistry

Dining is an art, and now that applies to both on the ground and at 35,000 feet thanks to Hainan Airlines’ “Hai Chef” Inflight Artistic Chinese cuisine series, a collaboration with Dong Zhenxiang, a Chinese culinary master also known as Dadong.
