Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco recently launched a chef series titled Amici in Cucina. As part of the initiative, the hotel invites other Michelin-starred chefs to join the property’s Executive Chef Matteo Temperini (with 2 Michelin stars) to craft a four-handed, four-course tasting menu.
The epicurean journey is held at on-site Ristorante Campe del Drago, with views over Val d’Orcia. The series kicks off today, with Chef Massimiliano Mascia from Ristorante San Domenico, in Imola. Chef Mascia boasts 2 Michelin stars.

On Aug. 26, Chef Carlo Cracco and Chef Mattia Pecis from Cracco Portofino join Chef Temperini.
Chef Cracco, known as “the handsome judge” on MasterChef, is one of the best-known chefs in Italy. His book is entitled “If You Want to Be Cool Use Shallots,” and he was a chef on Netflix’s culinary competition show The Final Table in 2018, and the host of the TV show Hell’s Kitchen Italia. He has held 6 Michelin stars over the course of his career with restaurants spanning 1 to 3 stars.
Then, on Sept. 9, Chef Peter Brunel from Peter Brunel Ristorante Gourmet brings his talents to the Amici in Cucina series, bringing his Michelin star to the lineup.
