Head out on Emerald Waterways’ first ocean yacht when the 100-guest super yacht Emerald Azzura launches in 2021, taking travelers to the Adriatic, Mediterranean and Red seas. While Emerald Waterways is more widely known for its river cruises, this new offering brings the brand’s high level of luxury to new destinations, with new experiences for those seeking a cruise on a smaller vessel.

The 360-foot Emerald Azzura is custom designed to fit itineraries across the Adriatic, Mediterranean and Red seas. Stops will be made in Greece, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, France, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Spain, Israel, Jordan and Egypt, but not only at these countries’ top spots. The yacht’s small size makes it possible to visit small ports and harbors not accessible on a typical cruise.

Staterooms and suites aboard the yacht start at more than 285 feet, all designed with a modern aesthetic and luxury amenities. Social spaces include a fitness center and spa. While aboard the yacht, guests enjoy access to a range of water sports, such as snorkeling and paddle boarding. Dining includes á la carte dinner, breakfast and lunch buffets and sommelier-paired wine and beer. Rates include airport transfers, port charges and onboard gratuities.

“Emerald Waterways has been operating award-winning river cruises in Europe since 2014,” said Glen Moroney, owner and chairman, Scenic Group. “The launch of Emerald Yacht Cruises and the stunning new Emerald Azzurra are a logical extension of the Emerald Cruises portfolio, adding intimate yacht cruising in the Mediterranean to the existing Emerald Waterways river cruise offerings.”
