Following the success of the ICON light, which had huge success on Kickstarter, the team at See.Sense is back with two new lights that promise even better performance.

First up is the BEAM front light, which promises intelligent lighting in a small package. It automatically gets brighter when you cycle into darker areas and even reacts to car headlights, too. BEAM will retail for $126 following the latest Kickstarter campaign.

Next are the ICON2 lights, available in front and back versions. New and improved LEDs will make you visible from as far as 3 kilometers away, while the in-built sensor makes the lights flash automatically at junctions and roundabouts.

It also adjusts brightness to conserve battery depending on light conditions, and is rechargeable via micro USB. The ICON2 light set will cost $175 retail, and you can combine it with a BEAM light for even greater visibility.

Staying safe on the road should be a priority for every cyclist, and these lights are bright enough to handle even the darkest conditions. They are more expensive than many models on the market, but it’s worth the investment if it means you’ll make it home safe and sound.
