It’s difficult to truly do Ireland justice with just one short trip. However, one tour is hoping to make an attempt at it, with a 12-day offering titled the Giant Irish Adventure by Vagabond Small Group Tours.
“Give Ireland 12 days on our Giant Irish Adventure and you’ll see more of Ireland than most Irish will see in a lifetime,” says Rob Rankin, co-owner, Vagabond Small Group Tours of Ireland. “When you leave your heart here, it’s always with the best intention to return. But if that doesn’t happen, you can be content that from the Giant’s Causeway in the very northeast to the Blarney Stone in the south-west, you have seen the very best Ireland and her people have to offer.”
The tour crosses the entire island, beginning and ending in Dublin. It touches on natural, cultural and historical icons. Activities include horseback riding, kayaking, hiking and cycling. During it all, guests enjoy local foods from Irish farms and stay at locally owned accommodations, including one stay at a castle-style country house.
The tour starts at €2,899 per person and 2019 departures take place June 3, 10, 17 and 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; Aug. 5, 12, 19 and 26; Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; and Oct. 7.

Once business concludes, a world of wonder awaits in many of Italy’s incredible cities.
Picking a destination is perhaps the most important part of planning a trip with your family. If your group includes small children, there are some destinations better suited to your needs than others. Consider these spots for your next trip with the little ones.
We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
Start your day with breakfast at a colorful eatery: Good Morning Mama’s Cafe. Breakfast is served all day and includes tantalizing options like Italian fried biscuits rolled in sugar and cinnamon, and So-Bro chicken, which includes country-fried chicken, home fries, sausage gravy, eggs and a biscuit. You’ll spend less than $15 for most breakfast items.
