If you’re in Prague looking for an adrenaline rush, look no further than skydiving. The tandem jump is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. After 5–10 minutes of training, you’ll be on your way, free falling out of a plane navigating through the clouds of Europe.
With Skydiving in Prague, the plane climbs to an altitude of 4,200 meters, which takes about 15 minutes. While enjoying the flight into the sky, you’ll overlook the beautiful Czech Republic countryside. The green light flashes, the plane door opens and then you jump.
You’ll free fall for about one minute at a speed of 125 mph, then the parachute opens as you cruise the sky for another five minutes. To land, simply lift your legs in the air and the professional tandem pilot will navigate you safely to the ground.
Skydiving in Prague includes a professional cameraman to capture every moment, from gearing up, entering the plane, freefalling and landing. All customers are provided videos on engraved flash drives to relive their experience. Besides having an external cameraman, you can opt to use a GoPro camera on the tandem pilot’s wrist. The skydiving season stretches from the middle of March until the end of October, depending on weather.
The meeting point is located in the heart of Prague, right near the Old Town square astronomical clock and other famous venues. From there, divers are taken to a small private airport north of Prague.
Skydiving in Prague is the most inexpensive price in Europe at $165 for a single jump. To jump and receive a flash drive of the video and photos, the price increases to $250. For $272, divers can jump, receive an HD video of the jump and photos and receive footage from the GoPro camera on a flash drive as well.
