When the exhaustion of travel hits you hard (or you’re nodding off after too much wine in the airport), you most likely won’t care so much about how you look when you’re sleeping, so it’s the perfect opportunity to test out the SkySiesta SNUG travel pillow, a take on the traditional U-shaped travel pillow but with hard angles to ensure a more secure head position.
Two L-shaped supports on either side of a central cushion allow the wearer to tilt his or her head to either side, regardless of whether the wearer has a window panel to lean on. Travelers can adjust the fit by using the straps and snapping the buckle closed for optimal position. By joining the two L-shaped sections in the center under the wearer’s chin, the head is completely supported, as are the neck and the chin, and the design helps prevent the head from falling forward.
Made from a washable fabric, the pillow folds up neatly into a carrying sack for easy storage when not in use. The pillow also comes with an eye mask to block out light and movement when sleeping in a public place.
The SkySiesta SNUG travel pillow can be purchased on Amazon.com for $24.99.
