The study involved evaluating the volume and quality of antique stores in 51 European cities. The results? The best cities offering the best deals for vintage furniture, unique home items and antique jewelry.
Here are the top 10 European cities for antique lovers:
- Copenhagen, Denmark
- Riga, Latvia
- Amsterdam, Netherlands
- Bergen, Norway
- Diekirch, Luxembourg
- Vilnius, Lithuania
- Cork, Ireland
- Dublin, Ireland
- Valletta, Malta
- Budapest, Hungary
Copenhagen, Denmark, comes out on top for the best city for antique lovers, featuring the sixth-highest-rated antique stores in Europe. The Danish capital city boasts more than one antique store per 100,000 people and the eighth-highest number of antique stores per capita out of all 51 European cities analyzed. For context, Copenhagen has more than double the number of antique stores than its neighbor, Gothenburg, Sweden. Copenhagen’s antique stores also score highly for quality.
