Looking for a great spring break destination that won’t be overly crowded? Consider heading to Cobb County, Georgia. It’s close enough to Atlanta that you can easily fly in, but far enough from the hustle and bustle that you’ll truly feel as if you got a break.
Once there, you’ll have plenty of options for things to do.

Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water is the largest regional theme park and water park in the Southeast. You can easily spend a day in each, with plenty of fun for the young and young at heart.
For swimming, boating and otherwise enjoying the water in a natural setting, you don’t need to head to the Atlantic Coast. Instead, check out two lakes within easy access of Atlanta: Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona.

If your visit occurs after April 4, consider a trip to Truist Park & The Battery, where you can watch the Atlanta Braves play (even if the park isn’t technically in Atlanta), once they’ve kicked off their season.
