Take a Swig

I recently used my first Swig product — the 20-ounce tumbler. I have one in copper and one in rose gold; I’m always looking for great cups for on the go, from my morning coffee to a cold beverage in the car as I’m running errands to water for the spin studio, so I was eager to test these tumblers out.

Superior Temperature Retention

Definitely scores an A+ from me! The Swig double-wall tumblers keep drinks seriously cold or hot. My coffee made at home before work was still hot around 11:30 a.m. Drinks are guaranteed to stay cold for up to 24 hours and hot up to 12 hours. When I made iced coffee for an afternoon of errands, it stayed cold the entire time, even in a warm car.

Vacuum Insulation

Double-wall, vacuum-sealed, insulated technology means the space between the stainless-steel walls is void of matter, with no medium to transfer heat, so outside temps won’t affect the drink. It also meant the metal cup wasn’t hot to the touch, despite the liquids inside. Again, the cup delivers on its promise.

304 Grade – 18/8 Stainless Steel

The cups are crafted from the material and are BPA free, FDA approved and highly resistant to rust, odors and bacteria. The cups are strong, durable and clean easily; however, my one small complaint is it does look like the outside copper stain chipped a little near the top where I pop the lid on and off.

Sweat Free

In line with what I mentioned earlier, the insulation prevents both condensation and heat from affecting the tumbler. This is a great feature for when I place the cup down on my furniture before running out the door — no water rings when I pick it back up!

Copper-Coated Insulation

The inner surface is copper plated for extra protection against heat entering or exiting the tumbler.

Clear Lids and Stainless-Steel Caps

The BPA-free lids or caps boast a rubber seal gasket to prevent leaking and maintain temperature control. I’m a natural klutz, so I can attest to the leaking: I missed the cup holder one morning and the tumbler fell over in my car, but there was no messy spill to clean.

The company offers a warranty against defects in material and workmanship for 365 days after purchase. However, I’m certain you’ll be pleased with the quality of the product. I was, and I like that the cup also looks stylish and fun.
