When the gang is prepping for a road trip, there are certain things you need to make sure you have enough of, such as clothes, snacks and entertainment, to last for the duration of the trip.
When it comes to packing technology, make sure you have the following things before setting out on your cross-country adventure.
First off, make sure you have any pieces of technology you might need for work. Vacations are awesome, but sometimes things just can’t wait. Bring your work laptop, phone and tablet if you have one. Then, double check to make sure you have all of the charging cables, as there is nothing more frustrating than reaching to charge your laptop and realizing you forgot the charger.
Before you head out, consider how much free time you’re likely to have on the trip. If it is going to be a bunch, consider packing a portable game console. These can help pass time more quickly and give you something to do to unwind at the end of the day. As always, make sure to bring the chargers.
Finally, pay attention to your electronic accessories. Bring your camera, GPS, car chargers and everything else that will help you actually navigate the trip. Of course, the longer a road trip, the more important these tools will be.
If worst comes to worst, bring along a favorite paperback to pass the downtime.
