Thanksgiving at the Hershey Lodge

Every year at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania, they host a Thanksgiving celebration in the Chocolate Ballroom. It’s hosted a few days before Thanksgiving and it’s a great way to get family and friends together for the holiday without paying a lot of money. Sometimes it can be hard to get a group together around the holidays but it’s easier to have people RSVP to an event like this. There’s something for everyone and no one has to put in all the work of making the food since it’s already prepared.

Speaking of food, there are many different options to choose from, including traditional Thanksgiving favorites, like turkey breast with a cranberry-orange relish. At the lodge there is a carving station with roasted meats, entrees and side dishes, a kid’s section and desserts. The desserts are the best part for any chocolate lovers because if anyone knows how to make good chocolate desserts, it’s Hershey. There, one will be able to sample some of the best chocolate on the market. Hershey prides itself on having chocolate that is tasty and has a signature milky flavor. Feel free to pack away some of the desserts to take home.

For adults, the price of admission is $49, plus 20 percent gratuity and 6 percent tax. Children ages 8 to 12 are $24, 4 to 7 are $18 and under 3 are free. It’s a buffet-style meal with cute Thanksgiving decorations throughout the ballroom.
