There are many things we take for granted about flying, like that we will have some options for entertainment and a place to put our drink down, just to name a few. Sometimes, however, we get on the plane and realize we should have thought of these things ahead of time. Let’s face it — flying is getting harder and harder as airlines remove one convenience after another in an effort to cut costs. Now that paying extra for legroom and basic snacks is a thing and planes are getting cleaned less and less often, gadgets to make flying more convenient are well-worth the money.

The Airhook 2.0, a seemingly simply concept, is a great way to bring extra convenience along with you on any flight. This device hooks on to the back of the seat in front of you and lets you attach any device to it so you can watch your own shows, movies and videos or play games without having to pay for in-flight entertainment or suffer through a video screen that doesn’t work.

In addition the device comes equipped with an adjustable cup holder so you can store your drink without having to hold it or touch the tray table. This not only allows you to set your drink down while you keep your tray table stowed and out of your way (perfect for take-off and landing), but you no longer have to worry about how many germs are on that grimy tray table.

The Airhook 2.0 folds down to the size of a standard men’s wallet and comes with a convenient carrying case. It is available here for $25.95.
