Slated to open this month, The Beach Caves of Six Senses Ibiza brings a unique and fun approach to music, dining and entertainment. The Beach Caves, located on the oceanfront and overlooking Xarraca Bay, will feature a restaurant and bar embracing Ibizan produce and culinary influences from Latin America.
Made in collaboration with Six Senses Ibiza’s owner and developer Jonathan Leitersdorf and hospitality pioneer Ben Pundole, The Beach Caves focuses on music, community and celebration. The team behind The Beach Caves partnered with local artisans, artists and performers to create an annual program of events, including live performances, an artist-in-residence program and art installations.
The new addition will also include a private dining room, speakeasy-style cocktail bar, nightlife venue, state-of-the-art recording studio and six Beach Cave suites with direct access to the Mediterranean Sea. The Cave Royale suite incorporates the free-spirited and festive nature of Ibiza into its décor and layout, from the oversized bed to the full bar to the outdoor tub. The remaining suites, the Cave Suites, comprise one-bedroom suites with oversized beds and a large outdoor terrace on the water’s edge.
The Beach Caves Restaurant and Terrace centers around locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Blending Latin American flavors from Peru and Mexico, the 108-seat restaurant and seafront terrace will serve signature dishes, unique cocktails and a selection of natural, organic wines. Menu highlights include lemon fish Tiradito, paired with guayaba, pomegranate and chilaca pepper; Formentera red lobster taco with avocado and lime, served with warm-roasted pineapple quinoa; and oven-baked Pastelito served with smoked corn, zucchini and cilantro.
The new bar will invite guests to its all-day-into-night space with eclectic cocktails bringing flavors of the island into different drinks. The bar will offer a curated selection of agave-distilled spirits, tequila and mezcal. The Xarraca Room will serve as the area’s intimate nightlife venue, offering arts and music programming. Set to host local and world-renowned DJs, artists, performers and musicians, The Xarraca Room will be available to guests and for private hire for up to 150 people.
