Loneliness, Homesickness
Solo travel means being completely alone with yourself and your thoughts. Nostalgia will creep up on you in the blink of an eye. You may feel like canceling your trip or returning home. Before deciding to cancel, reach out to family and friends to catch up.
Safety Issues
Depending on where you plan to visit, some places can be relatively safe for solo travels, and some might not be. Be sure to enroll in the STEP Program to get frequent updates about your location.
Expensive
Traveling with others usually lightens the financial burden that accompanies travel. The cost of everything adds up in the end. Solo travel will be freeing to the mind, but not necessarily the pocket. Seek out packages, or tracks flight and hotel prices to help relieve this burden.

There is nothing like having someone who captures all your best angles. Solo travel takes that away so you will have to figure out how to get a good picture.
Getting Lost
Getting lost on purpose can be fun, but getting lost in unfamiliar places with no idea how to get back to your hotel is not only unsafe, but also unsettling. Always travel with the address of your accommodation and portable chargers. Seek out free Wifi and ask locals to help you make your way to your home.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal.
