Embrace the hygge lifestyle with The Heima Box. The monthly subscription box company’s name translates to “at home” in Icelandic. Inspired by a Nordic lifestyle, the brand offers home décor and lifestyle items imported from Scandinavia and Iceland in its boxes.

You can build your own box or take the style quiz to be surprised. Four sizes are available: small ($29/month), medium ($59/month), large ($89/month) and designer ($149/month). Items can be worth up to $50, $90, $140 and $225, respectively. Additionally, you can order a three-, six- or 12-month subscription. Boxes ship within three–five days of ordering. Subscribers can cancel at any time. Check out examples of possible products and box sizes. Expect to see items including mugs, pillows, wall hangings, candles and barware.

The Heima Box offers free standard worldwide shipping. Send the box as a gift. The first gift box comes with best sellers, then the recipient can modify his/her preferences for future boxes.

Hotel Bonaventure

While the snow continued to fall at a steady clip, my taxi pulled up outside Hotel Bonaventure Montréal. A quick departure from my cab and a few steps later, I was taken in by the distinctive style of the entrance corridor. A quick elevator ride to the lobby is necessary because Hotel Bonaventure Montréal sits on the final two floors of a 17-story business and professional complex. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Montréal, and even connects to the city’s underground concourse.
