A New York City hotel redefines unique amenities with the opening of an exclusive, on-site tattoo studio. Dream Downtown, a luxury lifestyle boutique hotel in the city’s Meatpacking District, recently debuted a tattoo studio by world-renowned artist Jonathan “JonBoy” Valena.

Valena is known for his clean, micro-style line work and celebrity clientele (like Justin Bieber, Drew Barrymore and Kim Kardashian), and both hotel guests and the public can now enjoy his craft in a dedicated space within the hotel.
“I’m not just giving people tattoos,” said JonBoy. “I’m helping them tell their story.”
Open by appointment only, JonBoy’s tattoo sessions start at $1,000 and involve a collaboration between JonBoy and the client. Clients are invited to draw together with him, select their own music and craft an experience as memorable as the ink itself.
The tattoo studio lies just off the main lobby in a private, dedicated space.

“I used to be a regular at Electric Room at Dream Downtown and worked just around the corner at Gunbar on Gansevoort. Dream Downtown has always felt like a second home. It’s surreal to now be a part of it in this way,” added JonBoy.
