If you’re not familiar with Mint House yet, this brand is a bit of a mixed concept combining homestays and hotels for all the things you love about both, with none of the things you hate. While there are no room key cards and no room service, you do get huge rooms (that often include a kitchen), 24/7 digital concierge service, access to fitness centers, common spaces and more. And now, the brand offers its guests some seriously unique (and sometimes strange) amenities.

Mint House’s new Stock Your Stay 2.0 program allows you to rent a variety of items you didn’t know you needed during a stay away from home. Think slow cookers, air fryers, blenders and computer monitors. All you have to do is add these items to your stay when you receive your check-in email.
Currently, the program is available at select Mint House locations in New York City and Austin, though Mint House expects to roll out the program to all 22 of its properties across 15 cities later this year. So, if you’re on a work trip and need more tech gear, or you’re staying in a Mint House location specifically for the extra hosting space and full kitchens and need some more cookware, the brand has you covered.
