This New Experience from Turo Allows You to Book a Road Trip to a Favorite Restaurant

If you’re not familiar with Turo, the brand is essentially a car-sharing service — kind of similar to Airbnb, except you’re not renting out someone else’s home while you travel, but their car. If you use Turo during December, you can book some special experiences that take you to one of four Michelin-starred restaurants.

The new Drive to Table experience takes travelers on weekend road trips to restaurants including Barndiva in Healdsburg, California; Bell’s in Los Alamos, California; Al Coro in New York City, New York; and Clover Hill in Brooklyn, New York. Unfortunately, snagging one of these experiences for yourself isn’t as easy as just logging on to your Turo account. The experiences will only be available to select guests who book electric vehicles on Saturdays through Dec. 18.

If you’re one of the lucky ones to be granted access to one of the Drive to Table experiences, you’ll enjoy not just a trip for two to one of the restaurants listed above, but also a behind-the-scenes culinary experience at the restaurant and an overnight stay in a hotel.
