New, award-winning luggage from Samsonite may make your next trip more convenient.

Samsonite IBON features a central, one-point closure system and a transversal split, allowing you to easily access everything in your suitcase without unpacking, refolding or otherwise digging through everything you packed.

Other features include an interior compression system and a central interior handle, so you can easily move your luggage as needed while packing. Dual handles on the corners and sides make lugging your luggage around even easier, as does the telescopic handle within the hinge. There’s also no zipper. The hard shell is made from durable polypropylene, but remains ultra-light, and the luggage features a built-in central TSA lock.

In other words, forget about struggling and wrestling with an unwieldy suitcase that’s basically a giant, heavy rectangle. This suitcase can go where you need it to go how you need it to get there, all while allowing you to access what you need, when you need it.

“Good design should move the customers, improve their lives and change the world,” said Erik Sijmons, chief designer, Samsonite. “Good design is always innovative.”

The IBON is currently available in two colors, starting at $400. It comes with a limited 10-year global warranty. The hard-side, large IBON measures in at 31.1 inches tall and 20.3 inches long.

United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.

How to Leave No Trace While Traveling

Visit any popular destination and you’ll find an abundance of one thing: tourists. While there’s nothing wrong with that — travel does, after all, bring us closer to the world around us — tourists have earned quite the negative reputation for leaving destinations worse for wear. Whether it’s a visitor climbing to the top of the temple at Chichen Itza or tourists scratching their name on the wall of Rome’s Colosseum, it seems humans are always leaving their mark on the places they visit.
