Belmond Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg

The presidential suite at the Belmond Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg is the largest suite in the city at 4,000 square feet. The two bedrooms offer wonderful little touches, like a secret bookcase door between the library and the bedroom, a grand piano, private Turkish bath and a dining room perfect for parties of up to 10 people. Plus, this historic structure was the first luxury hotel in the city, built in 1875.

 

Majestic Hotel & Spa

Similarly, this suite in Barcelona is also the biggest in its city, and even bigger than the one in St. Petersburg by an entire 1,000 square feet. The royal penthouse suite at Majestic Hotel & Spa has its own supersized minibar, two terraces, three bedrooms, a dining room and lounge. The historic space (the hotel is almost a century old) features red and gold wallpaper, wood flooring and local Catalonian furnishings throughout. You can host a party of up to 14 in the lounge.

 

Park Hyatt Tokyo

For awesome views, book the Tokyo Suite at the Park Hyatt Tokyo. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views of the city’s skyline and even Mt. Fuji in the distance. The suite is a little more than 2,000 square feet and on the 50th floor. It has the feel of a private apartment and features a baby grand piano, a library with approximately 1,000 books and gorgeous artistic furnishings.

 

La Réserve Paris

For more perfect views, this time in Paris, book the Imperial Suite at La Réserve Paris. Just a block from some of the top attractions, you’ll get awesome views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. The bathroom in this suite is particularly spectacular, with its freestanding bathtub and Carrara marble. Enjoy multiple balconies and Napoleonic-inspired interiors.

 

The Chatwal

If you’re not jetting away to a foreign country this year but still want to live the high life, do so in New York City at The Chatwal.
