Viña del Mar is Chile’s premiere beach destination and, as such, boasts a variety of incredible restaurants all vying for attention. The seafood here is undeniably delicious, but you’ll find the city caters to every taste.

Donde Willy

Donde Willy is a seafood joint that offers delicious dishes at an affordable price. It’s a family-run restaurant where the owner and chef is extremely hands-on. In fact, he’ll probably be the one to take your order.

The Tea Pot

The Tea Pot is the perfect place for a bite of succulent pastries and, of course, great tea. The café is eternally busy, so expect a wait. With a menu of more than 60 different teas available, it could take you half the day just to figure out your order.

Lo Flor de Chile

La Flor de Chile is a quintessential Viña del Mar eatery that fully encapsulates the beach city’s vibrant atmosphere. The walls are colorfully decorated and contain photos of the restaurant and region’s history. The menu is exclusively Chilean fare and some of the best in town.

Divino Pescado

Divino Pecado is a bistro-style restaurant located just across from the Casino. The menu features a variety of Italian pasta dishes alongside some typical Chilean cuisine. The atmosphere is a little drab, but the food is absolutely divine.

Cevasco

Chilean hotdogs are a hearty treat any traveler must try. At Cevasco, they specialize in these massive meaty treats called completos. They’re grossly unhealthy, but oh so good. One of these can feed approximately three people.

Enjoy the Open Road on Your Terms

For most of us, time in the car is “me time.” You can listen to that podcast you’re captivated by, blast that pop song and sing along at the top of your lungs or listen to the next chapter in that biography e-book you’re almost finished. A road trip only amplifies those opportunities. So, next time you’re traveling by road, take the wheel and take control. Opt for a rental car on your next vacation, rather than a rideshare, taxi or public transportation, and enjoy the open road on your own terms.
