The idea of secret pockets in travel gear was once about waist wallets lying flesh on your stomach and awkward inner pockets. The location not only made it impossible for pickpockets to get to but also travelers trying to access their passports and cash. Other travel clothes promise to deter pick-pocketers but are also difficult to manage the bulky inner pockets while exploring.

Today’s travel clothing is all about the intersection where stylish meets functional. Here’s what to wear and protect your valuables at the same time.

Infinity Scarf
Skip the awkward waist wallets or accessible back pockets where pickpockets linger. An infinity scarf features a fully concealed zipper to tuck away your valuables without the telltale signs of bulk. Choose your favorite colors and wear an affordable pickpocket-proof scarf with every outfit in your travel wardrobe.

Tec Hat
Keep your valuables top of your mind with the Tec Hat. The fitted ball cap features seamlessly hidden pockets under the brim and behind an invisible zipper on the side. Tuck away your ID, a key or a few bills for an afternoon of sightseeing without worrying about thieves sneaking into your back pocket.

Pocket Bra
Stash your cash, passport, credit cards and more in a wire-free Travel Bra. Deceptively comfortable, the bra features multiple pockets including a drop-down mesh pouch that can stretch to fit a passport. A mini pocket for valuables and side mesh sleeve keeps cash and IDs safe and is even big enough for jewelry. Although you’re wearing your valuables strapped to you, the Travel Bra keeps pretty cool with wickable, soft fabric designed to breathe.

No one can really say a specific piece of clothing is completely safe from pickpockets. However, choosing travel clothing with seamless pockets and zippers can make it nearly impossible for thieves to access your valuables without detection. Stay alert, keep your guard up and employ the right travel clothing for a theft-free travel experience.
