A couple months ago, Obsidian Wine Co. launched an Outdoor Adventure Series that takes wine tasting out of the tasting room and into nature. Its newest adventure, Down the Rabbit Hole, sets the bar higher.
Down the Rabbit Hole is a speakeasy experience for those who prefer the path less traveled and are open to weird, wonderful experiences. The new adventure is tied to an innovative series of experimental wines. The Rabbit Hole is a lab of sorts, a place to taste little-known wines or experience craft methods that produce surprises from summer sparklers to cider blends.
This off-the-beaten-path hidden gem offers an experience for wine lovers that goes beyond the sip and swirl of traditional tasting rooms. Guests will enjoy coming-of-age wines and will leave with an expanded understanding of what West Coast winemaking means.
Guests can expect to try the exciting group of wines that inspired the adventure: Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Maslas Piquette and a Pear Blanc.
The Down the Rabbit Hole adventure is now available to book for $50 a person; the first date is already booked, but more will be available soon, including May 6, June 3 and July 1.
