Oslo’s parks are not only some of the prettiest places in the city, but also boast impressive sculptures and cultural emblems embodying the city’s past. Vigeland Sculpture Park is the largest of its kind, home to more than 200 bronze, granite and wrought iron sculptures, all made by one artist.

Trends / Unique Itineraries & Tours

When the weather starts to get warmer after a long, cold winter, everyone wants to spend as much time outside as possible. If you are bored of the normal outdoor places, spice it up and head to a sculpture garden instead.

The Grounds For Sculptures is located in New Jersey and offers a great outdoor space to explore. It is open year-round. This 42-acre museum features plenty of outdoor attractions, including tons of breathtaking sculptures, an arboretum and more.

Wander through the gardens to catch glimpses of more than 300 sculptures from an array of artists. Head indoors for temporary exhibits highlighting artwork from established and emerging artists. Since the opening in 1992, the gardens have displayed work from more than 700 artists. Take part in one of the multiple events they offer. Attend a hands-on workshop, educational lectures, concerts and much more.

The Grounds For Sculptures costs $10 to visit and is a non-profit organization that relies on the support of visitors and donations to keep it alive.

Spice up your events and make it a party you will never forget. The Grounds For Sculptures offers a venue for all kinds of events.
