Under $100: Downtown Nashville

With a wide range of bars, museums and wall murals great for a photo shoot, we can see why young travelers flood the southern city of Nashville, Tennessee.

The Nashville Downtown Hostel offers free WiFi, a community kitchen, on-site laundry, a music stage and free pizza for about $45 per night. The hostel is close to local breweries like Yazoo and Fat Bottom so you can sample the locally brewed beer.

Visit the Parthenon in Centennial Park to see a replica of the famous Greek building. The park is free to roam, but going inside is only $6.50 to see artwork from the 19^th and 20^th centuries. After the park, get your photo taken at the Instagram hot spot “WhatLiftsYou” wings located at 302 11^th Ave. S. The line may be long but worth the wait.

Downtown Nashville has plenty to do day or night. Take a walk down Broadway where most of the action happens. During the day, check out the shops, good eats and historical sights. Come back at night for the upbeat bar scene and hop your way from one bar to the next. Most bars do not have cover fees.
