Destinations / North America

Savannah, Georgia, is a popular town for tourists from around the world. The area is known for Southern charm and old-fashioned architecture. There are plenty of things to do and see while visiting. Here are some activities that are fun, but won’t break the bank.

Take a tour of Historic Savannah on a trolley for $20. This tour lasts about an hour and a half and takes you to all the historic sites of Savannah. Learn about the history of the town and the buildings, all from an experienced guide. The best part is the trolley is air-conditioned.

Savannah is home to a lot of haunted places because of the old buildings and history. For $29, take a paranormal mystery tour guided by a psychic. During this tour you will be taken around Savannah in search of spirits. Keep an eye out for something waiting around every turn.

Take a stroll along the riverwalk and enjoy great views, shops and restaurants. Walking along the river and window shopping is free. If you are feeling hungry, there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy, some are more expensive than others. Head to Spanky’s for a delicious meal less than $20. The chicken tenders are amazing and affordable. Instead of french fries, get the spuds.
