Philadelphia is one of the most historic places in the United States, attracting more than 46 million tourists each year. From historic tours, movie set locations and world-class museums, Philadelphia has something for everyone. Instead of staying in a hotel, check out these Airbnbs located throughout the city’s different neighborhoods for a one-of-a-kind stay.

Elfreths Alley

This narrow street is home to 32 colonial homes dating back to 1703, making it the oldest developed street in the United States. Travelers have the chance to spend their stay in one of these homes, in a 200-year-old wine cellar. Although tight on space, the host has provided all of the amenities, like high-speed internet, air conditioning in the summer months and a television. This Airbnb is within walking distance to The Liberty Bell, National Constitution Center and Betsy Ross House.

Fishtown

Although named as the epicenter for the city’s fishing industry, Fishtown is now a trendy neighborhood of music, good eats and art. Located northeast of the center of Philadelphia, this location offers a quieter stay with the ease of accessing any other part of the city with a quick train ride, rideshare or walk. This comfortable, historic home was built in 1875 and features original wood flooring and exposed brick walls with modern décor. Enjoy a glass of wine on the outdoor patio before heading off to Suraya for dinner or La Colombe for coffee in the morning. Stop by Barcade for a night out with drinks and old-school arcade games.

Penn’s Landing

Enjoy gorgeous views of the Delaware River on a house boat. Anchored at Philadelphia’s central marina, this yacht offers a comfortable stay with easy access to restaurants, sightseeing tours, Cherry Street Pier for art and a monthly flea market or Race Street Pier for free fitness classes and yoga. Guests have full access to the yacht, along with the marina bathrooms, showers and washer and dryer. Enjoy breakfast with a view of the Ben Franklin Bridge with free room service.
