United MileagePlus Members Can Now Earn Miles Through Turo

If you’re a United Airlines MileagePlus member, you have a new way to earn miles: through trips with Turo, the world’s largest car-sharing marketplace, which allows you to rent cars from private owners while traveling, much as you might rent a private home through Airbnb.

This new partnership allows MileagePlus members to earn five miles per $1 spent on their first Turo trip and one mile per $1 spent on every Turo trip afterward. All you have to do to start renting and earning is log in to Turo and begin shopping for the various vehicles available on the platform. You’ll be able to cancel your trip for free up to 24 hours before your reservation begins. Members also enjoy 24/7 customer support and protection plans to keep you covered in case of vehicle damage or theft.
