Up Norway recently launched a new Mystery Trip planning service for travelers looking to experience everything Norway has to offer in an exciting way. A growing trend in the travel industry, many travelers want a surprise vacation experience, and Up Norway offers just that.
An Up Norway trip specialist will first e-meet with travelers following a digital questionnaire to determine travel dates and the traveler’s interests and goals for the trip. Following this meeting, Up Norway will craft the traveler’s dream trip, incorporating the traveler’s interests and priorities into the itinerary.
Some of the highlights of these mystery travel trips include staying in treetop cabins in Finnskogen Forest, whale watching on the seas and skiing the Sunnmore Alps. The trip can also include food experiences, where guests will enjoy some of Norway’s best dishes and ingredients, like the country’s ripe berries and delicious Hardranger Sider.
Up Norway also incorporates the culture of the native Sami into many of its itineraries. From hiking and packrafting from Kautokeino through Reisa National Park on the Arctic trail to visiting a reindeer sanctuary, Up Norway creates custom experiences for each traveler.
Accommodations include log cabins, lakeside yurts, tent igloos, renovated lighthouses and boutique hotels. Up Norway aims to provide guests with cozy experiences in locations not typically expected. Partnering with native Norwegians, Up Norway sees locals host guests at some of these unique locations to further show off Norway’s vibrant culture.
For a five-night Mystery Trip based on two people traveling together, pricing starts at $2,300. Up Norway’s Mystery Trips can also be curated for solo travelers and small groups of friends or families.
