Visit Lauderdale recently launched its No End to the Rainbows social inclusion campaign as the latest among its many longstanding inclusivity initiatives. The campaign, on the organization’s social media channels, highlights the stories of the destination’s LGBTQIA+ community, as well as its diverse cultural heritage and diverse visitation.
“Greater Fort Lauderdale has always been, and will always be, a place where everyone is welcome,” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO, Visit Lauderdale. “We stand by our commitment to provide a welcoming experience for all travelers, including our LGBT+ community. Our doors are open, and we invite everyone to explore our beautiful destination and be part of our diverse and inclusive culture.”
The campaign invites travelers to join in by using #EveryoneUndertheSun and posting images of rainbows in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.
“The rainbow has become an emblem of the LGBT+ rights movement, celebrating identity and advocating for equality. It represents the beauty of diversity within the community and serves as a reminder to honor and respect all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity,” added Richard Gray, senior vice president, inclusion and accessibility, Visit Lauderdale.
