W Florence recently opened Zefiro Rooftop, a dynamic new venue in the heart of the Renaissance city. Perched above the hotel on Piazza dell’Unità Italiana and named after the gentle west wind of Greek mythology, Zefiro Rooftop offers sweeping views of Florence’s skyline and a fresh, modern take on the Italian aperitivo tradition.

Inspired by the glamour of 1960s Italy and the bold energy of the 1970s, Zefiro Rooftop brings retro sophistication designed by global design firm AvroKO. The space features abundant greenery, bold finishes and playful design details.
A central lounge sits at the center of the rooftop, before extending into an intimate V.I.P. area, offering panoramic views of the Duomo and the Tuscan hills. At its core, Zefiro Rooftop is a cocktail-forward aperitivo destination with a beverage program highlighting sparkling wines, signature spritzes, low-ABV cocktails and modern riffs on classics. Complementing the drinks is a selection of shareable bites rooted in Italian street culture.

Zefiro Rooftop can host a range of events and collaborations across art, fashion, food and music. Dedicated photo moments, adaptable bar setups and flexible seating allow the space to transition easily.
A rotating lineup of local and international DJs play from sunset into late night, further establishing W Florence as one of the city’s most exciting social destinations.
