Looking for the latest and greatest things to do in Napa Valley this summer? Here’s what awaits if you haven’t visited America’s favorite wine destination in a while.
Stay at Stanly Ranch
Firstly, if you’ve yet to book your hotel for your trip, reserve your space at nowhere other than Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection. Opened in late April, the luxurious property, with its 135 cottages and guestrooms, offers a relaxing and wellness-focused stay.
Taste Some Wine — or Some Cocktails
New wine-tasting experiences are available at the new Clif Family Enoteca Private Tasting Salon, as well as at the new downtown Napa Valley Levendi Winery tasting room. That said, not everyone in Napa is going to be a wine aficionado. For those who prefer a cocktail, Arbortum by Napa Valley Distillery is the place to go.
Brush Up on Your Wine Know-How
You should add Napa Valley Wine Academy to your itinerary if you’re looking to increase your knowledge of all things wine. The academy now offers hour-long classes on Monday with guided tasting included.
Plan Something for the Kids
If you’re traveling to Napa with the kids in tow, you don’t need to worry about a lack of activities for them. You’ll find a range of resorts and even wineries with kid-friendly programming. Connolly Ranch Education Center is an excellent spot to check out, with its mission of instilling in children a respect for the environment and sustainability. The center welcomes families for weekend visits and annual events.
