Shooting in the grain reduction mode makes the shot clear. Shooting in the light trail mode is perfect for light painting or moving traffic.
Nova LED Flash and App
Nova is the more expensive option at about $60, though it offers incredible quality to your photos by providing a small, credit card-sized LED light to act as a flash. Many iPhone photos used with a flash appear blown out, but the LED light used with the app provides the perfect lighting in dark situations and lets you get really creative with features.
