From a newly renovated waterfront and new hotel openings to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Seattle is a must-visit city this year. Find out why:
FIFA Club World Cup 2025 (June 15–25)
Lumen Field will host six matches of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, with Seattle Sounders FC set to play all three of its group-stage games. Teams like Paris Saint-Germain, Atlético de Madrid and Botafogo will duke it out for the trophy, setting the state for FIFA World Cup 26 Seattle.
Renovated Seattle Waterfront
Seattle’s waterfront has a new look! Officially completed last October, the renovated waterfront includes the accessible Overlook Walk, inviting visitors to take in views of Puget Sound as they venture between Pike Place Market and the Waterfront promenade. This spring, a new jellyfish climbing structure and artwork honoring the history of the Coast Salish peoples will be added.
Seattle Museum Month (Feb. 1–28)
Throughout February, visitors staying in one of more than 70 downtown Seattle hotels receive half-price admission to the region’s top museums. Each pass is good for up to four guests, with no limit to the number of participating museums guests can visit. Eligible museums include The Museum of Flight, Wing Luke Museum and Seattle Pinball Museum.
Taste Washington Wine Event (March 13–17)
The country’s largest single-region wine and food festival returns to Seattle for its 25th year this March. Expect more than 200 wineries and 75 local restaurants at the event, which culminates in The Grand Tasting.
March Madness (March 21 and 23)
Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena hosts the first two rounds of the NCAA D1 Men’s Basketball Championship. Tickets are on sale now.
