Cultural Offerings
Cleveland Museum of Art hosts a special exhibition featuring the works of renowned artist Takashi Murakami. The ticketed exhibit will be on display May 25–Sept. 7. Open now through Aug. 17, the museum features a special exhibit highlighting Karamu House, a significant Black community arts center. The popular Rock & Roll Hall of Fame offers Saturday Night Live fans an immersive exhibit celebrating 50 years of the show’s musical guests, opening May 23. Visit Cleveland History Center and explore unique exhibits including History in Their Hands: Black Photographers in Cleveland, All Dolled Up: 200 Years of Dolls and Miniatures and City of Hope: Resurrection City and the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign, each open through August.

The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland hosts the city’s annual Pride in the CLE event June 7. The celebration will include performances, food trucks and discussions with local activists. The annual Cleveland Asian Festival will be held May 17–18. Enjoy traditional music and cuisine. Cleveland Orchestra hosts its annual Blossom Music Festival, with a diverse lineup of acts throughout the summer, including a performance by award-winning actress and singer Cynthia Erivo on July 27. Attend Larchmere Porchfest on June 28. This family-friendly music festival features performances by local bands and musicians held on residents’ porches.
