Cunard recently gave iconic Queen Elizabeth a bit of a refresh, gearing her up for her first season homeporting in Seattle and offering cruises to Alaska.
If you’re lucky enough to be on one of these seven- to 12-night voyages, you can expect to see refreshed interiors and revitalized common spaces. Grill suite guests will see new furnishings and elevated décor, as well as new dining with exclusive, Michelin chef-created menus. The changes also introduce The Pavilion Wellness Café to the ship; the café was already featured on Queen Anne and offers healthful dining. Also following in Queen Anne’s footsteps, Queen Elizabeth now also offers wellness at sea programs to boost cruisers’ relaxation, energy or recovery.
Whatever the changes, though, cruisers can still expect to find the luxury and refinement the ship is known for.
“Historic grandeur, refined elegance, bespoke experiences and unparalleled personal service are cornerstones of a Cunard voyage,” said Liz Fettes, senior vice president, commercial, North America, Cunard. “Our view of luxury is rooted in a belief that experiences can be both elegant and relaxed, and our Alaska voyages aboard Queen Elizabeth personifies that spirit.”
